Badminton World Federation Approves Connor Sport Court for International Competition

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (PRWEB) October 1, 2008

The Badminton World Federation has announced that Connor® Performance Wood Flooring Systems from Connor Sport Court International have officially been approved for use in badminton training and international level competition.

Andrew Gettig, vice president of International Sales at Connor Sport Court, said this certification joins the BWF approval for Sport Court Performance Flooring earned in 2003.

Ron Cerny, president of Connor Sport Court®, said the certificate of approval allows Connor to display the official BWF logo among its relationships and approvals.

“Badminton World Federation is important to our international business. Multipurpose sporting facilities around the world often include badminton, and this approval by the sport’s governing body shows BWF confidence in our surfaces for their sport at the highest level. The BWF relationship joins the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s Final Four championships, the National Basketball Association’s Jam Session, the Federation of International Basketball (FIBA), USA Volleyball, the U.S. Soccer Foundation, and the AFC Futsal Championships,” Cerny said.

The endorsement was obtained following inspection and testing of existing Connor badminton installations.
