It would make it less interesting. However, I would love to see them do the single’s game what they have done to the double’s game in that they have done away with Ad scoring and made it so that when it gets to Deuce that the next point decides that game once and for all.

That’s the way they score in racquetball. too. Though they
stop at 15, I believe, winning by 2 pts.

It’s fine for badminton and racquetball, but I don’t think
it would generate interest in tennis. Just the opposite!
Besides, it’s tradition. Why would you want to change it?
Don’t think any tennis player would want to switch

Besides, if one player jumps off to a big lead, it’s over!
Practically, anyway.
Not the case as it is now. However, the better player will
win most of the time, anyway.

So, in my opinion, it is less interesting the way you suggest!

Haha I’ve never really thought about that..
I’m positive they would never change the scoring in tennis but I kinda think it would be less interesting if it was changed to that. I like how it is now, but maybe that’s just because I actually understand how the scoring works in tennis and not in badminton. =]
